Quality Assurance Review
To be completed by each team's QA person.
Due at the start of the final exam period.
The QA review summarizes the results of carrying out the QA plan.
Structure your evaluation around the questions below, but feel
free to
elaborate as you see fit. Please type your review. You
should use
your best written English and prepare an organized, coherent, and
professional assessment.
- How well was the QA plan followed? Were all the
activities required by the plan carried out? Did developers
adhere to the
standards? Were the criteria applied consistently?
Was
rework required for substandard work products?
- How much authority did the QA plan receive? To what
extent did the team consider the QA plan as an important guide
to
success? Did you have the authority to insist on
resubmission of
substandard deliverables? Which items did you (or the
team)
reject and was the required rework performed adequately?
- Did all participants understand the purpose and
procedures for each activity?
- Evaluate how well each activity was carried out.
Consider the amount of preparation, degree of attention and
thoroughness, application of relevant standards or criteria,
amount of
feedback to developer, evidence of commitment to quality, etc.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of each activity. How
beneficial was it to your team? To what extent did the
activity
produce significant quality improvements. Cite any relevant
evidence.
- How carefully and accurately did your team gather the
required quality metrics?
- Attach the Quality Metrics report (described in the QA Plan).
Describe how the data was collected for each metric.
