We will be using Trac for our team web sites.
Here is a Trac wiki formatted
home page template.
The template serves to organize your teams work in a
standard layout that makes it easy for the instructor
to find documents you've created.
This template is a skeleton that you will add more
links to as your team creates the necessary documents
for your project.
Suggestions
- Complete the "About Our Team" section as a group activity
- Your web page must be viewable with FireFox and Internet
Explorer.
- Do not use any special plug-ins or animated graphics such as
Flash. Keep it simple and fast loading.
- Do not use HTML documents generated by Microsoft Word.
- Use simple static HTML or Wiki formatting. Do not use CSS, Javascript, CGI, etc,
unless
you obtain instructor permission.
- You may modify the color scheme, but don't use a dark background.
- Don't place any password protection on the site without
instructor permission.
Obsolete
Place your web page on your team Unix account. Your web site
needs to be located in a directory named www. The www
directory needs to have read and execute permission, and your root
directory needs to have execute permission. The home page needs to be index.html
(not htm).
