Spring 2009 Cal Poly Programming Contest

Overview:

Design and implement a Java program that plays a game, then watch as your program competes in real-time with other submissions for fame and bragging rights! You may enter as a team of 2 or individually. All skill levels (including graduate students) and all majors are welcome. There will be a separate recognition category for teams that haven't completed CPE-103. Pizza will be served for dinner. No lunch is provided.

To ensure a spot, please RSVP/pre-register your team by sending an email to jbellard *at* calpoly.edu. Drop-ins will be accomidated on a space-available basis.

Aproximate Timeline (5/2/2009):

1:00 - 1:30pmReview of game rules and contest environment
1:30 - 6:00pmDesign, implement, and test your game agent
6:15 - 7:00pmEnjoy pizza and cheer on your code as it completes in real-time against other agents.
