My name is Brian Friesen. I was born and raised in Bakersfield California which is about 100 miles north of Los Angeles. But now I live in beautiful San Luis Obispo on the California central coast.

Some of my interests include playing racketball, swimming, and hiking. Overall I'm a pretty active person. But I also enjoy spending the whole day at home on the couch. I feel you've got to get a good mixture of activities and relaxing. For more on my hobbies, go here.

Since I do enjoy TV as much as the next person, my favorite TV shows are (in no particular order): Simpsons, Futurama, Star Trek TNG/DS9/Voyager, Whose Line is it Anyway, Good Eats, and Nova. The best TV shows from my youth are Knight Rider, A-Team, Transformers, GI Joe, Dukes of Hazard, and MacGyver.

As far as my musical interests, I like many different types. Mainly I listen to 80s new wave, which is the best! My 80s CD collection rivals that of any radio station. But I also like rock/pop, classical, oldies, and some country. Lately I've been listening to a lot of techno.
