:: Christopher Clark ::

Welcome to my home page! Most of this site details my teaching and research in mobile robots, multi-robot systems, social networks in robotics, autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs) and intelligent vehicles.

Note we are openning the new Lab for Autonomous and Intelligent Systems - LAIR. Check out the LAIR web site.

I am now running a new program called the International Computer Engineering Experience (ICEX). Last year's trip brought 6 students to investigate Maltese cisterns (ancient water storage systems), while utilizing underwater robots (see Malta Cistern Mapping sites for more information.) This year's trip was to the Sletvik Field Station in Norway, where we deployed several underwater robots for education and research. To find out more and get application materials, visit the ICEX web site.

I am also working with biologists on the NORUS project - a partnership between Cal Poly, Rutgers and Norweigan Universities (NTNU and UNIS) with the goal of developing technology for marine monitoring and ocean observations. Current plans include studying ecological systems in the Arctic. Please see the NORUS site for details.
