Don't forget your reading assignment, you should have read over (and taken notes on) chapters 1, 2, 4.1 - 4.4 and the first four pages of 12.1.  It is good to look over the same topic in other textbooks, to look at K&R (Kernighan and Ritchie) in chapter 1, and to "experiment" with simple programs on your own computer at home to see how various statements in C affect program behavior.
