In this assignment you are giving a five-minute presentation, based on the research summary you did for A3.

• Please bring 25 copies of your  summary, for distribution to the class.
• The five-minute time limit will be strictly enforced.

General Guidelines

A good five-minute presentation is a specialized art form. It needs to cover the major points, without getting bogged down in low-level details. The time goes by surprisingly fast, so it is typically much harder to stay within the limit than to come up with enough to say.

The following are some specific presentation guidelines:

• a pretty fast burn rate for slides is one per minute, so about five slides should do
• practice your presentation in advance, in particular for timing
• use large font, and predominantly if not totally text; it's easy to spend a lot of time on an intricate picture
