• Our last course dataset, MARATHON is up. Lab 3, basically, an extension of Lab 2 (the new part is working with DATE values) is now available.

• SQL scripts for testing Lab 2 submissions are now published (see under Lab Tests).

• Files showing the desired output for Part 3 of Lab 2 assignments are now available for both STUDENTS and BAKERY datasets.

• car-makers.csv file from the CARS dataset had a small bug in it. It is now fixed, please download the new version of the file. No other file in the CARS dataset was affected.

• Lab 2 is now available. You are welcome to start working on it before the lab period.

• All datasets for Lab 2 are now posted. The remaining two datasets are BAKERY, a synthetic OLTP dataset, and STUDENTS, the dataset used in Lab 1, Part 2.

• I have started putting datasets we will be using in the rest of the course during the labs. First dataset, CSU, describes some historical data about the California State University system.
