CSC/CPE 406 Midterm Exam Study Guide
- The midterm exam will be an in-class, written exam.
- You should bring a pencil and eraser.
- You may not use any study aids during the exam. For instance, books,
notes, friends, phones, computers will not be allowed.
- The exam will contain multiple choice, fill-in-the-blank, and short
answer questions. You may also be asked to create diagrams or
coding artifacts. Questions will vary from very technical to
very abstract.
- You may be asked to answer questions regarding reading assignments
from the course text and articles/resources posted on the course schedule.
In particular, you should be familiar with the concepts of each assigned
reading section, and some particulars (e.g. sensing, separation, seam types, specific dependency breaking techniques, svn tags/branch/merge).
Pay special attention to topics highlighted in class presentations and discussions.
- You may be asked to answer questions regarding student presentations.
You are strongly encouraged to review student presentation slides on the course wiki.
- You may be asked questions that include Java and JUnit.
- You may be asked questions regarding the course project including
topics such as (but not limited to) process, team organization, and
tools used. You will not be responsible for technologies
not used by your team.
- You may be asked questions regarding material presented during
lecture and lab.
