CPE/CSC 480 F03 Artificial Intelligence Fall 2003

CPE/CSC 480 F03 Fall 2003 Presentation Template

The final presentation is the opportunity for both teams involved in the project to show their efforts and achievements. It should concentrate on the design and implementation of the user interface for the system, and on the evaluation and assessment of that user interface. Each team will give two (partial) presentations, one from the developer's and one from the evaluator's perspective. Both the development and the evaluation team of a given project should coordinate their presentations; this is part of the duty of the evaluation contact persons in the respective teams. The final presentation will be part of the project documentation, and must be made available on the project Web page.

Use the outline below to structure your presentation. You should recognize most points from your project documentation, and of course you can use material from there. You have to make sure that you stay within your time limits! It is absolutely essential to do one or more dry runs of the presentation, and to familiarize yourself with the setup available in the classroom and the lab. You can use my laptop (a Macintosh iBook) or the setup in the lab (Sun workstation) together with a LCD projector, or you can bring your own laptop. From my own experience, I can also recommend to have backup transparencies in case the technology doesn't work.
