The course material is based on two similar courses at Cal Poly, CPE/CSC 484 User-Centered Interface Design and Development and CSC 486 Human Computer Interaction. What is Where?
In this class, we’ll use several repositories and tools for various purposes:
- Instructor’s class Web pages: General class information, such as syllabus, schedule, assignment specifications; see the links on the navigation bar
- Dropbox folder with presentation slides: Powerpoint, PDF and Keynote versions of the lecture slides; the Keynote version is the one I actually use in the lectures, and contains last-minute changes.
- PolyLearn/Moodle: Grades, submission of labs and assignments (sometimes via pointers to Web questionnaires)
- Piazza: Discussion board
- User-Centered Design Evernote notebook: Collection of snippets for the selection of project topics; see also related notebooks onAI Nuggets and Knowledge Management.
