CIS332 (Fall 1998) Principles of Operating Systems;
Professor Franz J. Kurfess

-- Lecture Notes --

The transparencies used in class are available as PowerPoint (.ppt) and PostScript (.ps) files. To print the PowerPoint files, I recommend to print three or six on one page, in (pure) black and white; check the print options for that. Otherwise you'll go through a lot of paper and toner or ink. To print PostScript files, you need access to a PostScript printer. Such printers are available in most computer labs at NJIT; ask the lab supervisor for instructions on how to print PostScript files. These files are already formatted with several slides on one page, in pure black and white. I'll also try to make them available on the Web as HTML files. As soon as I have that, you'll be able to access them through the entry for the topic in the course schedule.
