COMP 675 Fall 99 Lecture Notes
This page points you to the
directory with the PowerPoint Slides used in class.
To conserve paper and ink, I recommend to print 3 or 6 slides
per page, and to select the "Pure Black and White" option.
If you don't have PowerPoint or a compatible presentation program,
you can also download a free
PowerPoint viewer which will allow you to view the slides.
You won't be able to edit or print them, however.
Alternatively, you can also use the PostScript version.
You won't be able to edit these files, and you need a
PostScript viewer (e.g. ghostview) or a PostScript-capable
printer to view or print them.
Usually I have the slides ready a few days before the
lecture, although I might make some minor last-minute changes.
If the file has a "Draft" in its name (e.g. 02-Users-Draft.ppt)
it indicates that changes are to be expected. These changes usually
will be minor, e.g. formatting, or additional slides for practical
exercises. Once I've finalized them, I'll remove the "Draft"
from the name, and I'll also put a PostScript version there.
