CPE/CSC 480-F06 Artificial Intelligence Lab Exercise 5

Since this week we have the midterm, there is no lab exercise. The total lab score will be adjusted accordingly.

In the past few years, I have used a tool from the Computational Intelligence Lab at UBC in Vancouver ( http://www.cs.ubc.ca/labs/lci/CIspace), to demonstrate local search methods using the n-queens problem. The tool, however, was not very popular with the students. If you're curious, the old lab is available at Lab-5-Old.shtml; feel free to try it out, and let me know what your impression is.
