• pre-compiled solution -- this is an executable program that can be run on unix1, or CSL lab machines running Linux; to run it directly, do the following in a UNIX shell on a CSL machine:

  cd ~gfisher/classes/101/programs/1
  make_change

  Note that it probably won't do you any good to copy this program to a machine that is not in the CSL, such as a home computer, since in all likelihood it won't run there. We'll talk about why this is so in class.

• buggy pre-compiled solution -- this is an executable program with a bug in it; you can use it with the test script to see how incorrect output is reported
