CSC 308 Sample Final Exam


Given below are links to a sample final exam and its answers. The sample is a final from a previous 308 class.

The sample illustrates the general style of questions that will be asked on the project-related portion this year's final. This year's final will also have a some short-answer questions that do not appear in the sample. There is further brief discussion of these final exam topics at the beginning of the Week 11 Lecture Notes.

Also not shown on the sample are any questions about GUI prototyping in Java Swing, FX, or other tool. This year's final will have one or two prototype questions, which will cover the use of basic GUI components, and the implementation of actionPeformed (or the equivalent) methods. You can give your answers to prototyping questions using the tool that your team used to prototype with.
