Students can view on their screens the information that the teacher is sharing with them. Students can draw on their own screens and share what they have drawn with the teacher. Heux conducts polls on topics created by the teacher and students can submit their answers through the application.

• Have blank whiteboard: Students can create a blank whiteboard on top of any lecture where they can take notes or draw examples with an array of coloring and writing tools.
• Conduct forums: The classroom including the teacher can all talk to each other in a forum. Questions can be asked and answered in the forum as well as getting help on a task.
• Go online: The app allows for students to pull up internet sources on top of the lecture so that the lecture is not limited to only what is on the slides. Information can be accessed from anywhere on the internet through the app.
• Observe other people's screens: The app lets the teacher view all of the student's screens so that the professor can make sure everyone is on task as well as see if a student may be struggling on a question or assignment.
• Co-Edit Feature: The teacher can allow students to co-edit slides alongside the teacher so that students can actively be engaged in the lecture.
