2.6.1. Layer Manager

The layer manager has a few basic functions; the presenter can determine the permissions for each layer, adjust the opacity, and add or delete a layer. As shown below in Figure 1, once the eye icon is clicked, the system responds by dimming the color of the selected layer in the layer manager and making the layer invisible to everyone else. The presenter can also click the lock icon, which brings up a menu where they can select individual students or everyone to have access to that layer.

When the presenter wants to add a new layer, all they have to do is click the plus sign at the top of the layer manager and the new layer window will be brought up. They then fill in the necessary fields to finish creating the layer. The presenter can write on this new layer as well as draw on it. If the presenter wants to delete a layer, all they need to do is highlight it and press the trash bin icon.
