The Grader Project

The tool provides functions to manage grades for a class, view the grades in a few graphical forms, and create a grade curve. Professors/Teachers use the Grader to keep track of assignment grades, calculate overall grades using a curve, and view grades from previous classes. Administrative users run the Grader to view grades a professor has given in past classes. Student users use the Grader to view their current grades in comparison to other students (names and id’s hidden) and predict their overall grade.

The Grader project is organized into the following directories:

• requirements -- user-level functional requirements for the project
• specification -- formal specification of the functional requirements
• prototype -- operational prototype, with limited functionality
• design -- architectural software design
• implementation -- implementation source and executables
• testing -- testing plans and results
• administration -- administrative and managerial information
• documentation -- audience-specific documentation, such as users manual and installation instructions
