1.5.2. University Timetabling
University Timetabling is an open source program that is platform independent. It is used by Purdue University as it's primary scheduling tool. It is all done through a web interface.
Good Features:
- can specify technology rooms AKA "smart" rooms
- can specify different types of quarters (Fall, Winter, Spring vs. Summer)
- preferences of time slots
- time pattern allows for easy creation of class blocks
- automatically enrolls students based priorities
Bad Features:
- Run through a web interface. Can be a security issue.
- Looks like an old interface. Not very pretty.
