2.7.4 Predicting Grades

The student clicks on the "Predictor" tab and is presented with his/her row from the gradebook.

The predictor works in three ways:

Predicting remaining scores based on the kind of final grade the student wants.
Fill up a few remaining scores and let the rest of the scores be averaged and predict a final grade.
Fill in what the student thinks he/she will get for all assignments.

All the predictor does is fill in empty fields. By having certain fields empty the predictor will understand what fields to predict.

The student fills some fields on the predictor and clicks "Predict"

The scores in black are scores already present. The scores in orange are the scores the student set (manually inputted). The purple scores are what the predictor predicted.

The student fills in a total grade of 100%, but can't actually achive it.

The assignment scores that are over its maximum number of points is displayed in red (106%).
