1.5.1. Testmoz Test Generator Review
Testmoz is a very accessible test generator tool. It is a free and very simple to use allowing anyone to create a test, modify its settings, and view results. It is run through a web-browser allowing users with internet access to generate and take a test.
Good Features:
- Browser based, allowing access from any internet connected device
- Free to use
- Can assign points per question
- Different types of questions may be selected (True/False, Multiple Choice, Multiple response, fill in blank)
- Can choose to randomize the questions or answers
- Can preview questions and see their points worth
- Can edit, add, and remove questions
- Can access a question and answer key for tests
- Can access users’ scoresheet and may export it as a CSV format (spreadsheet)
- Can set a passcode required for students to enter before they can take the test
- After quiz. option to display the user’s:
- a)score b)quiz outline c)indicate if response was correct or not d)display correct answer
Bad Features:
- Requires internet connection to generate questions and tests as well as taking the test
- No protection against user login (any user can login as someone else)
- Cannot select the questions to be generated on a test (questions created will always appear on the test, cannot be imported to another test)
