The main view of the grader program for TAs is similar to the instructor view, except certain elements may be made inaccessible and other elements are automatically inacessible. The controls which are automatically inaccessible are:

• Editing scores which are saved in the gradebook.
• Adding or removing students from the course.
• Changing assignments which are saved in the gradebook.

The controls which may or may not be available to the Student, depending on permissions set by the instructor, are:

• Ability to view existing student grades for each individual Item.
• Ability to view student information for any individual student information column.
• Ability to view other student names in the class.

If any action is disabled, the user interface elements which control that action are greyed out and inactive. If any columns are not visible, those entire columns are greyed out and no cell contents will be visible.

In general, the primary capability of the student view is the ability to use the prediction mode. For further details, see Section 2.7.2.
