When the user selects the 'Sort by...' item in the 'View' menu command from the initial screen as shown in Figure 2.1.2 an option menu, illustrated in , appears.

After selecting a button under 'Sort Students By...' the data in the table is updated. Only one option can be selected at a time. Figure 2.5.1 shows a sample class before being sorted. By default, students first appear in the order they were imported in. shows an example of a class sorted. In this example, the students are sorted in alphabetical order of 'First Name'.
