1.5.1 Easy Test Maker Review
Easy Test Maker is pretty ugly, but has a lot of flexibility in creating questions.
Good Features
- Flexible question making - For stuff like multiple choice questions, you can add around ten optionsw for the student to select, but the program recognizes when you enter fewer options than that and acts accordingly.
- Allows students to take tests that have been generated - In the plus version of the software, you can (reportedly) give your students a link and they can take your generated test online.
- Reuse of questions - Easy Test Maker allows you to import questions from other tests, allowing you to reuse questions easily.
Bad Features
- Hard to read / ugly - The font used is hard to read and the site in general is pretty ugly (even the color scheme is pretty bad, and looks dated).
Missing Features
- No code / essay questions - It's not a surprise that they don't allow you to paste codee, but the only free-form questions allowed are "short answer," which might have some different logistics from an essay question.
- Non-equal point distribution options - You can't assign point values to individual questions, so all questions have the same value.
