The Grader Project

This document defines requirements for an electronic Grader Tool. The tool provides functions to manage grades in the classroom environment for individual students. Educators use the Grader Tool to enter grades, adjust categories, and manage statistics in many different ways. Students use the Grader Tool program to view only their grades, predict their future grades based on assignments or exams, and analyze statistics of their entire class..

The Grader project is organized into the following directories:

• requirements -- user-level functional requirements for the project
• specification -- formal specification of the functional requirements
• prototype -- operational prototype, with limited functionality
• design -- architectural software design
• implementation -- implementation source and executables
• testing -- testing plans and results
• administration -- administrative and managerial information
• documentation -- audience-specific documentation, such as users manual and installation instructions
