2.8.1 Network Flow

This network flow diagram shows how data will be stored and transferred between users using this application. The instructor will receive the roster of students from the university server, and will interact with the university server again when the term is over and will publish the final grades. The instructor will also deal with a department server which is where various grades and assignment data throughout the course will be stored; the students can then see grades the instructor has posted. Certain assignments will have a handin option, the student can handin to the department server, which is where the instructor/TA can then go and view the handed in assignments from students and grade accordingly.
