2.7.5 Add/Remove Class

 

The next set of steps are very similar. The fundamental difference is what operation is selected from the menu. Only users that are selected as administrators are allowed to perform the following actions.

 

2.7.4.1 Add Class

 

To add a new class, the user selects Add Class from the Admin menu. This opens the Add Class dialog box as shown in figure 1. Class is the name of the class being added. Instructor ID is the ID of the instructor being associated with the new class. Admin ID is the ID of the Administrator adding the class. Admin Password is the password of the Administrator adding the class, this is a password field.

Figure 2 shows an example of the dialog filled in with information. To add the class, the user pushes the OK button. To cancel the operation, the user pushes the Cancel button.

2.7.4.2 Remove Class

 

To remove a class, the user selects Remove Class from the Admin menu. This opens the Remove Class dialog box as shown in figure 3. Class is the name of the class being removed. Instructor ID is the ID of the instructor associated with the class. Admin ID is the ID of the Administrator adding the class. Admin Password is the password of the Administrator adding the class, this is a password field.
