2.7.1 Authentication

When initially entering the system's server, all users first come upon the Authentication interface as seen in Figure 271-1.  This interface is used by the system to know what the user can view and what actions they are able to perform.  The topmost entry field is a one line string that holds the users system login ID.  The field directly underneath it is for the users system password.

In Figure 271-2 the user has filled in the Authentication screen. The password field will always display the "security" dots instead of the letters of the password.

To authenticate with CSTutor the user selects the 'Login' button. The system responds by closing the dialog.

If the user wishes to enter the system anonymously, they can simply press the 'Enter Anonymously' button to enter the system.
