The CSTutor Project

This document defines requirements for a web based Computer Science Tutoring Tool. The tool provides functions to assist in the tutoring of individuals logging in via a web browser. Individuals use the CSTutor to view created lectures and help pages for specific topics relevant to computer science. Administrative users run a CSTutor Administration program to manage already created help pages, create new tutorials, and track individual user's progress through the courses..

The CSTutor project is organized into the following directories:

• requirements -- user-level functional requirements for the project
• specification -- formal specification of the functional requirements
• prototype -- operational prototype, with limited functionality
• design -- architectural software design
• implementation -- implementation source and executables
• testing -- testing plans and results
• administration -- administrative and managerial information
• documentation -- audience-specific documentation, such as users manual and installation instructions
