Security is a huge aspect of the Grader tool. One security issue is that grades have legal ramifications. This is why when a teacher posts his/her grade he/she must sign an electronic signature. This signature is unique to the teacher and prevents another user from posting. Also students can not see other student's Names or IDs when looking at thier own grades. The name and the ID field are astricked out and the order of the students on the gradesheet is randomized to prevent guessing. Also the grades are stored electronically on to the teacher's computer. These files are encrpyted but if a student were to have access to the teacher's grader program he could have access to them.
