As a gradebook application, Easy Grade Pro provides the basic functionalities needed such as a spreadsheet, assignment and class categories, and calculation of grades. Its additional functionalities tend to focus on the customizability of various tools and options.

Although Easy Grade Pro has a large number of functionalities, it still lacks some useful features.

Good Features:

• Color coding of certian elements in the gradebook
• Customizable sorting of of students and grades
• Filter searches (i.e., shows only the passing students, an assignment, and customizable filters)
• Backups of gradebook
• Ability to add comments or notes onto scores
• Provides summaries of class, assignment, and students
• Spell check and dictionary
• Ability to customize curving
• Drag and move students and assignments to manually sort
• TA mode and restricted access option
• Ability to take attendance on a seating chart

Bad Features:

• Only one graph (histogram)
• Not many porting formats already supported (can make customized format but requires in-depth knowledge of format)
• Limit of only 1000 students
