The Scheduler Project

This website contains an overview of our team’s design process for the Scheduler project. Section one describes our initial research and analysis of our project and our intended goals. We state the problem we have to solve and the information that will help us solve it. This includes the context of the problem and the people who will be involved and affected by our solution product. We finish the section with research on similar systems that attempt to address our problem.

The Scheduler project is organized into the following directories:

• requirements -- user-level functional requirements for the project
• specification -- formal specification of the functional requirements
• prototype -- operational prototype, with limited functionality
• design -- architectural software design
• implementation -- implementation source and executables
• testing -- testing plans and results
• administration -- administrative and managerial information
• documentation -- audience-specific documentation, such as users manual and installation instructions
