PASS (Plan A Student Schedule) is a web-service scehduling tool used at Cal Poly State University. It is the main schedule creater and tester for the students at the university. Although class creation and setup is done behind the scenes by the adminstrator, the students may view all of the classes and details about them.

Overall, PASS provides a good tool for students but is very manuel in most of its tasks.

Good Features:

• easy selection of courses (done by categories).
• allows schedules to be saved and opened.
• system is secure and password protected.
• integrated into a web-service for easy access from any location.
• class capacity is displayed.

Bad Features:

• if a confliction arises, the error displayed is unclear and hard to unwind.
• poor integration with related tool, CPREG.
• loaded schedules cannot be altered.

Missing Features:

• export ability for schedules.
• sophisticated copy/paste.
