ResSched is a simple piece of scheduling software with a low learning curve. ResSched utilizes a large user-defined resource pool and user-defined bookings to display schedules. Who can view or book the resources or bookings is all based on the access level of the current user. Resources and bookings are organized by resource groups and categories respectively. Subsequent schedules can be viewed for single resources, groups, and other objects and the time period to view can be customized as well.
The absence of core desired features such as automatic scheduling and the generalized target domain of ResSched leaves much to be desired. Ultimately, ResSched is an ok product for general use but not something this project would aim to create.
