2.5.3. Editing the Schedule by Changing Criteria

If the user would prefer not to edit things by hand, they can have the application make the changes instead by editing the criteria on which the application generates the schedule.  The user can change information by selecting either 'Courses', 'Instructors', or 'Classrooms' from the Category Toolbar (Figure 2.2-1) and using the corresponding edit windows.  After changing the information as desired, the user simply has to return to the Schedules category using the Category Toolbar.  When the user returns to Schedules the View Schedule window will appear (Figure 2.5.1-2), and because a schedule has already been generated, it will appear with the 'Update the Schedule' button.  Updating the schedule is similar to initially generating the schedule, except that any manual changes using the edit schedule mode will be retained.
