ExamView, developed by Pearson Assessments, is a powerful test generation program. It contains many of the features that are being included in our TestTool.

• Multiple types of questions, with questions able to be defined as different types with different difficulty ratings
• Ability to create electronic and paper tests
• Automatically grades electronic tests
• Can integrate with grader programs

Bad Features:

• Limited markup available for questions and answers

Missing Features:

• Ability to test code snippets given as answers
• Ability to launch an IDE from the test
• Ability to include pictures in test answers
