The Test Tool Project

This document gives the requirements for a computerized test making/taking tool called Test Tool. This software product will be a test generation, delivery, and grading solution that will provide a intuitive graphical interface for all users. Specifically, this tool will be written to integrate with a programming IDE, allowing the creation of coding questions for Computer Science exams.

The Test Tool project is organized into the following directories:

• requirements -- user-level functional requirements for the project
• specification -- formal specification of the functional requirements
• prototype -- operational prototype, with limited functionality
• design -- architectural software design
• implementation -- implementation source and executables
• testing -- testing plans and results
• administration -- administrative and managerial information
• documentation -- audience-specific documentation, such as users manual and installation instructions
