This is a follow-up message about the Scheduling Software Project, led by Gene Fisher in the Cal Poly Computer Science Department. As noted in previous messages, we would like to schedule an initial requirements interview with you and a team of two students. If you would like to include any additional particpants, please do so. The duration of the interview will be 30 minutes. If you think you may have more to discuss than can be covered in 30 minutes, please feel free to request a longer time period, up to an hour. If you would like to do a bit of advance preparation for the interview, you can visit the following page of the project website: http://scheduler.csc.calpoly.edu/planning.html#initial-interview It outlines what to expect from the interview session. If you would like even more detail of how the interview will be conducted, you can read the script that the students will follow, at: http://users.csc.calpoly.edu/~gfisher/classes/308/handouts/interview-script.html In your reply to this message, please provide the following four pieces of information: (1) times you are available to meet during weeks 2 and 3 of this Fall quarter (2) the campus location most convenient to hold the interview (3) whether you would like more (or less) time than 30 minutes (4) whether it is OK if we make an audio recording of the interview For the available times, you can provide a list of simple ranges, e.g., MWF 2-4PM, TR 11-1. As necessary, you can provide different times in week 2 and 3, e.g., Week 2: MW 10-12, Week 2: not available. Once again, thank you very much indeed for your participation, Kian Dinyari and Gene Fisher on behalf of the students in the Scheduling Project team
