Making a launcher for JGrasp.
These instructions are for the CSL Workstations running Fedora/CentOS.
- Right-click on the horizontal launch bar at the top of the screen,
- Select "Add to Panel".
- Choose "Custom application launcher" and click Add.
- In the Create Launcher dialog, type "JGrasp" in the Name field.
- Enter in the "command" field: jgrasp
- Click OK. A default launcher icon should appear on the
launch bar.
- Click it, and JGrasp should launch.
- (If the window doesn't appear, check the bottom task bar.)
Install the JGrasp icon
(Replace the default launcher icon with a JGrasp icon).
- Download this
JGrasp icon
to some permanent location in your account.
- On the launcher bar, right-click on the default launcher icon,
choose "properties"
- Click on the "Choose Icon" button
.
- In the "Choose an icon" file chooser dialog, navigate to where you
downloaded the icon. Click "Open" and the icon appears in the launcher
properties.
- Click Close and the JGrasp icon should appear in the launch bar.
