Network Jeopardy
A
previous 205 student created a fun Network Jeopardy application.
Here's some sample screen shots.
JeopardyBoard The
main screen displaying categories and amounts.
AnswerScreen An answer (clue) being
displayed for contestants to read.
NowGuessing The display when a
contestant is guessing.
ChooseMode When the app starts this
dialog allows choice of operating mode.
HostConfig This dialog is how the host
is configured.
The source code is available from Dr.
Dalbey. We need the following enhancements.
- Address the issues on the Maintenance
List.
- Put the source code under cvs control on waldorf.
- Create JUnit tests for each class.
- Create automated System Tests including GUIRobot scripts to test
the GUI.
- Create a project web site for developers using the course team
project homepage template.
- Build a product web site. It could be similar to
Revelation9 or
modeled after some other site. I think this application would be
popular with classroom teachers. Do some research to see if there
is any competition. Figure out what unique features our
application offers and highlight them on the web site.
- The product web site should include a place for user's to submit
their favorite Answers files.
- Build a solitaire Jeopardy Applet or CGI where visitors can "test
drive" an answers file.
