My research interests include:

Document search based on the meaning of text (a.k.a. semantic search)
Probabilistic and incomplete databases
Knowledge representation and reasoning
Distributed systems
Creating and maintaining views and indices for query optimization

I am looking for undergraduate and graduate students that are interested in doing research in any of these topics, or maybe something totally new. The research can be performed as part of independent study or M.Sc. thesis.
