DISCLAIMER: PROCEED AT YOUR OWN RISK!! THE AUTHOR TAKES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR WHAT YOU DO WITH THIS INFORMATION. READ ALL THE DOCUMENTATION CAREFULLY BEFORE TRYING TO ATTEMPT ANY MODIFICATION TO FIREFOX.

What This Mod Does:
If you get a timeout or connection error in firefox (specifically a netTimeout, connectionFailure, or netReset), this mod will automatically reload the page.

What You Need:
Instructions:
1. Close Firefox.
2. Open your C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\chrome directory and rename toolkit.jar to toolkit-backup.jar or something along those lines. Basically just change the name to something else.
3. Copy the toolkit.jar that you downloaded into this folder.
4. Open Firefox.

NOTE:Do not uncompress the toolkit.jar. If you get a folder name content, you unzipped the toolkit.jar. Firefox uses zip files renamed as jar files to hold all its files in one place.

If you want to test this mod out, you can browse to csc.calpoly.edu or 127.0.0.1.
NOTE: csc.capoly.edu does not have a webserver set up. It will always timeout. 127.0.0.1 is a loopback to your computer. If you dont have a webserver running it should always timeout. These links serve the purpose to show that when a website times out, this mod will try to reload the site. Going to that link will give you a timeout and if running the hack, will enter a loop of trying to reload the page over and over again. The real server for the csc department is at www.csc.calpoly.edu.
