Description

Select a video game and write a 2-3-page evaluation of it. You can choose a casual online game, console game, or popular PC game. Your evaluation should include the following major topics:

1. Description
   1. Provide the game title, genre, and platform (Online, console, handheld).
   2. Provide a brief description of the game's goals and play.
2. Rule Summary
   1. List the major rules that drive game play.
3. Game Choices
   1. What are they?
   2. Are they interesting? Challenging?
4. Outcomes
   1. What are the possible outcomes of the game?
   2. Are the outcomes meaningful to the player?
5. Conclusion
   1. Is this a good game?
   2. Explain why or why not.

Deliverables

Your paper should be typed, use 12pt font, double spaced and have 1in margins.

This assignment is due October 5, at the beginning of class.

Assessment

The purpose of this assignment is to get you to start thinking crtically about games. You are required to identifty three major components of a game: Rules, Choices, and Outcomes. Your homework will be assessed in the following way:
