Brian's Topsy Turvy Mega Love Companion Adventure World Game

Final Project

CPE 471 - Fall 2010

Introduction

Originally, I set off to make a mock Super Mario Galaxy game, where you control a character who navigates a sphere and can platform. Little did I know, I was in for much, much more.

When the player begins the game, the player is greeted with a spunky, yet appropriate title sound. That is, a sweet sound file introducing the game is played.

Next, the player will realize he is on an unnerving dark red sphere. This is the Mega Love Companion's home/prison/playground. It is called Half-Dark-Half-Ligh-Red-World.

The world is populated by 'coins', the Mega Love Companion's only sustenance. He needs to collect them all for a successful happiness.

The world has 15 coins, randomly placed about the world. When the Mega Love Companion runs into a coin, he collects it, and an appropriate sound is played. Special sounds are played after 5, or 10 total coins have been collected.

When all 15 coins have been collected, a victory sounds is played, and the player is rewarded with a winning song played on repeat. The Mega Love companion has then reached maximum happiness.

Here are some screenshots of this badboy in action.

He just craves those coins!
Mega Love Companion both loves and hates his inhabitance.

To Be Added:

Probably nothing, as it is one of the best games I've ever played.
