!Overview
Seed RPG is a simple rhythm game, akin to Harmonix's Guitar Hero or Konami's Bemani series.  Icons representing different keystrokes drop from the top of the screen, notifying the player to press the corresponding key when they reach the bottom.

It was supposed to be a Role Playing Game with rhythm game elements, but alas.

!Compiling
Seed RPG uses CMake to generate a makefile.  As of writing, every machine in 14-255 and the CSL should have CMake installed, at least on their Linux partition.  To generate the makefile, navigate to Seed RPG's directory and run

!Features
The original design intended the rhythm game aspect as the battle system for a larger RPG, which time didn't permit.  You can see remants of a ''terrain renderer'' on the song select screen.  It generates a mesh from a heightmap source, usually a grayscale image.

The pre-made models were loaded from Wavefront .obj files instead of .m.  This allowed a better workflow between Blender3d and the game, though this might seem underutilized in the final product (it totally is).

Using Simple Fast Media Layer, which provides the OpenGL context, Seed RPG incorporates streaming audio, such that music tracks can be played with little overhead.

!The Name
Originally, all the content, besides the songs, was going to be procedurally generated, with {{{srand()}}} playing a pretty (gratuitous) important role.  The player would select the seed at the beginning of the game, and it would build itself from there, hence "Seed" RPG.
