George Donegan's Fall 2012 Final Project
Dinosaur Adventures
Amazing Backstory!
It's the end of an era, and only one of the dinosaurs remains and his name is Bill the Giant.
The viewer is shown a scene right before the end of the dinosaur species, as Bill walks in towards the camera, showing his massive size and skinned body right before a giant meteor hits from behind and causes explosions and the loss of trees.
Particle Effects!
Breath-taking particle effects simulate a real explosion! And there's 3 of them! Because 3 is way better than 1. AND they're textured!
Amazing Landscape!
See the world through your own eyes, full of lush trees, and crackling sands, the last remains of the dinosaur land before the meteor strike!
MD5 Models!
Bill, the last remaining giant dinosaur is beautifully modelled as an MD5 with updated positions to help add to the realism!
Absolute Cutting Edge Technology!
Particle effects to help you experience the explosions!
Loading and drawing of .obj files!
Loading and drawing of rigged MD5 models exported from Blender!
Simplistic point lighting with realistic shading!
Use of glut timers!
