Christmas Scene

By Robert Crosby - CSC 474 - Fall 2012

Introduction

The main Goal was to demonstrate some of what I learned in Computer Animation though a simple Chrismas scene. The largest part I wanted to show in this was a particle system that can be used in a veriety of ways. The particle system was used to display snow outside the windows and a fire in the fireplace. I also intended to demonstrate a skinned mesh and an animated camera but was unable to due to time constraints. The rest of the scene is composed of static objects with lighting baked using Blender 3d.

Results

Some screen shots of the scene at diffrent angles.

The snow was also used in another program to display a pre-calculated galaxy simulation.
