During Fall Quarter 2012, Adam Hintz and I began work on our senior project, a video game called Amethyst. While the game is produced using Unity, Zoƫ agreed to let me create the opening scene for the game and render it using my scene graph.
Because this is not intended to be the final version of this cutscene, the surfaces are not finished and although there is an engine glow effect, it is not the one that will make it to the final game.
The scene is being rendered using a custom scene graph that imports a COLLADA file. In previous projects, I added GPU skinning to this engine.
