This is the entry point to the Web pages for the CPE/CSC 486 Human-Computer Interaction class during the Winter 2019 term. Material will be added to these pages during the course of the quarter.

What is Where?

In this class, we’ll use several repositories and tools for various purposes:
  • Instructor’s class Web pages: General class information, such as syllabus, schedule, assignment specifications; see the links on the navigation bar
  • Repository with presentation slides: Powerpoint, PDF and Keynote versions of the lecture slides; the Keynote version is the one I actually use in the lectures, and contains last-minute changes
  • PolyLearn (Moodle): Grades
  • Piazza: Discussion board with updates on class activities, links to documents only visible to class participants
  • User-Centered Design Evernote notebook: Collection of snippets for the selection of project and research topics; see also related notebooks on AI Nuggets and Knowledge Management.
